Sit Stay Concierge Pet Wellness is hiring compassionate, dependable professionals for relief and part-time in-home pet wellness work across Virginia. This combined opening includes Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Assistants, and Professional Groomers.

Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, in-home pet wellness services.
  
• Administer medications, insulin injections, and subcutaneous fluids as requested.
  
• Perform nail trims, ear cleaning, sanitary trims, light mat clipping, and specialized pet sitting for pets with medical or mobility needs.
  
• Observe pets for changes in condition and communicate concerns to owners; recommend veterinary examination when medical evaluation appears needed.
  
• Maintain accurate visit notes, excellent client communication, and exceptional customer service.
  
• Use the booking and appointment app effectively while working independently in clients' homes.
  

Professional Groomer responsibilities

• Provide gentle, individualized in-home grooming services.
  
• Safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
  
• Educate clients on coat maintenance and skin health; identify concerns that should be evaluated by a veterinarian.
  
• Maintain grooming equipment and a clean, organized work environment.
  
• Communicate effectively with clients and the manager and use the booking and appointment app.
  

Requirements

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician, Veterinary Assistant, or Professional Groomer preferred.
  
• Excellent animal handling skills and a compassionate, patient, gentle approach.
  
• Fear Free certification or low-stress handling experience is a significant plus.
  
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and willingness to travel throughout the Virginia service area.
  
• Comfortable working independently in clients' homes and adapting to changing environments and individual patient needs.
  
• Dependable, organized, self-motivated, personable, and professional with clients.
  
• Strong communication skills and comfort using a booking and appointment application.
